Information we collect

• Account details: username, mobile number, country of residence, sponsor ID.
• Verification: identity document, selfie and the outcome of the review.
• Banking: bank, account holder, account number and branch code, stored for payouts and settlement.
• Activity: bids, listings, transactions, proof-of-payment uploads and notifications.

Why we collect it

To verify that members are real people, to match buyers and sellers, to enable direct payment between them, to calculate referral bonuses, and to investigate disputes and suspected fraud.

Who we share it with

Banking details are shared with a single counterparty for a single matched transaction. Identity documents are visible only to reviewing administrators. We do not sell personal information, and we disclose it to third parties only where the law requires it.

Retention

Transaction and verification records are retained for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records. You can request deletion of your account; records we are obliged to keep are retained in restricted form.

Your rights under POPIA

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or object to processing. Contact support@mycoinauction.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable period.
